How to read these records

The record

New York City prequalifies construction firms trade by trade — concrete, electrical, plumbing, roofing and hundreds more — so that agencies can solicit bids from the list. The City publishes one line per firm and trade; this site gathers them into one record per firm, with all its trades.

Status

On the City's prequalified list. The revenue band is the City's own yes/no indicator. Ownership indicators in the City's file are not shown. The record ID is made by this site from the name and address.

What is not here

Individuals, and any name without a company word (Inc, LLC, Corp, Co…). Owner and contact names, phone numbers and mailing addresses, which this site never downloads.
